 The Maheshwari Vidya Pracharak Mandal (MVPM) and the Abhay Bhutada Foundation have come together in a remarkable partnership to empower Maheshwari students through education. Their annual scholarship program, designed to support both academic excellence and financial need, has become a beacon of hope for countless students. Held in Pune, the scholarship distribution ceremony celebrates achievement, resilience, and the transformative power of education.

Two Pillars of Support

The scholarships are offered in two distinct categories:

  1. Merit-Based Scholarships:

    • Recognizing outstanding academic performers, 10 students are awarded INR 1 lakh each. This not only rewards their hard work but also encourages them to strive for greater achievements.

  2. Need-Based Scholarships:

    • Fifteen students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds receive INR 1 lakh each. These scholarships ensure that financial difficulties do not hinder their educational aspirations.

Ensuring Fairness: The Selection Process

The scholarships are available exclusively to Maheshwari students residing in the MVPM hostel. The application process is conducted online, with submissions accepted from 15th to 31st July. A joint committee meticulously reviews the applications between 1st and 7th August, followed by interviews for shortlisted candidates from 8th to 14th August. The final list of recipients is announced on 16th August, ensuring transparency and accountability.
